Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Specify, design and write software and make modifications to existing software in accordance with agreed user requirements, created in partnership with others.
- Develop and supervise software using disciplined software development processes adhering to company standards.
- Develop new or customize existing software modules (mainly in Java & sometimes in C++) as per project needs. The developer will get involved in all software project phases including requirement gathering, software analysis and design, coding, testing and all their related documentation (e.g. functional requirement specification, design specification, validation and acceptance test plans, installation/user manual).
- Create and executes unit testing and integration testing ensuring software meets requirements.
- Provide technical support to external departments.
- Create, review, and maintain all required technical documentation related to assigned software to ensure supportability and reuse.
- Participate in the internal integration and validation testing phases.
- Contribute in writing the installation procedure, integration test plan, validation test plan and customer acceptance test plan.
- Provide level 3 support (proposing and implementing solution) during the acceptance tests and maintenance phase.
- Other Tasks may be assigned as per the work requirements.
Academic background & Professional Knowledge Required
- Proven experience as a Software Developer, software engineer or similar role
- Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
- 5 or More years of Experience in relevant field
Technical Competencies
- Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. C++, Java, JavaScript) and frameworks/systems (e.g. AngularJS, Git)
- Experience with spring, Oracle , Hibernate frameworks
- Certification in recent technology will be an addon
